Ingredients:

Large Potatoes 4
Ground Beef 300g
Onion 1 (finely chopped)
Garlic 2 cloves (minced)
Paprika 1 teaspoon
Dried Oregano 1 teaspoon
Salt To taste
Pepper To taste
Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
Butter 1 tablespoon
Grated Cheese (optional) 1/2 cup
Egg (for egg wash) 1
Fresh Parsley For garnish

Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Potatoes:
      • Peel 4 large potatoes and cut them into chunks.
      • Boil the potato chunks in salted water until they are fork-tender.
      • Drain the potatoes and mash them until smooth. Set aside to cool.
    2. Cook the Ground Beef:
      • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
      • Add 1 finely chopped onion and 2 minced cloves of garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant.
      • Add 300g of ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
      • Season the beef with 1 teaspoon each of paprika and dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  1. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet.
    • Take a spoonful of mashed potatoes and flatten it into a disc in your hand.
    • Place a spoonful of the cooked ground beef mixture in the center of the potato disc.
    • Carefully fold the potato over the filling, shaping it into a roll. Seal the edges tightly.
  2. Bake the Rolls:
    • Place the assembled rolls onto the greased baking sheet.
    • Brush each roll with beaten egg wash for a golden finish.
    • Optionally, sprinkle grated cheese over the top of each roll for added flavor.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and crispy.
