DOGE: Illegal Aliens Received Benefits, Social Security Numbers
A stunning report from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) revealed that thousands of migrants on the federal government’s terror watch list were able to secure Medicaid benefits after they were released into the U.S. interior by the Biden Administration.
“Under the Biden administration, it was routine for Border Patrol to admit aliens into the United States with no legal status and minimal screening,” DOGE announced in an official White House press release.
In total, a little more than 6,300 individuals who were paroled into the United States since 2023 were on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center watchlist or had criminal records. “These paroles have since been terminated with immediate effect.”
Despite lacking any legal status, paroled aliens were able to file for authorization for work permits and received social security numbers. Of the roughly 6,300 paroled aliens who were on the terror watch list or had criminal records, every single one of them received a social security number.
Of that group, 905 paroled aliens collected Medicaid, four of whom were on the terror watch list. A total of $276,000 in taxpayer funds was paid out to satisfy these claims.
In addition, 41 paroled aliens collected Unemployment Insurance, 22 received federal student loans, 409 received {net} tax refunds totaling $751,000 in 2024 alone, and several others received SNAP benefits.
Under the Biden Administration, more than 400 individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist were stopped trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally between ports of entry. This is up from 11 between 2017 and 2020.
Earlier this week, DOGE official Antonio Gracias revealed that not only were aliens paroled by the Biden Administration able to receive benefits, thousands were found on voter rolls in a handful of states.
“We looked at voter rolls and we found that thousands are registered to vote in friendly states. And we looked even further in those friendly states and found that many of those people had actually voted,” Gracias said. “It was shocking to us. If I hadn’t seen this with my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe it … it is shockingly bad.”
The Trump Administration has put an end to former President Biden’s “catch and release” strategy, under which millions of illegal aliens were able to skirt international asylum laws by having their claims heard. Migrants applying for asylum are supposed to present at the first “safe” point of entry under international law, though the Biden Administration openly ignored this by allowing migrants to travel from as far away as China in order to apply for asylum.
Once in the country, asylum seekers were given court dates before being provided with transport to a city of their choosing. Immigration officials and policy experts have long warned that millions of asylum seekers never show up for their court dates and become essentially untraceable in the United States.
