For 12 years, Nicole Kidman has been Keith Urbans greatest support, and once again, she was right by his side as he won Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Awards

Nicole Kidman has been Keith Urban’s steadfast supporter since they married twelve years ago, and last night she was right by his side as he was named Entertainer of the Year at the 2018 Country Music Association Awards. The 51‑year‑old Australian actress beamed with pride as her husband accepted the night’s top honor.

For the occasion, Kidman chose a chic black ensemble: a feather‑trimmed top with a plunging neckline paired with a knee‑length skirt that showcased her elegant silhouette. She completed the look with gold bracelets, pendant earrings, and a half‑up hairstyle that let loose waves tumble over one shoulder.

Urban kept his style effortlessly cool in a green T‑shirt, jeans and a plaid blazer. When his name was announced, he choked up onstage, thanking his fans, his crew, God—and his late father—before concluding, “God bless country music.” It was his second time winning Entertainer of the Year, his first coming back in 2005.

Earlier in the evening, Urban took the stage twice: first alongside Country Music Hall of Famer Ricky Skaggs and his band Kentucky Thunder for a spirited “Highway 40 Blues,” and later energizing the crowd—and his wife—with a dynamic solo of “Never Comin’ Down.” At one point, he even rallied the audience to serenade Kidman with “Happy Birthday,” a sweet moment for her 51st.

Between his heartfelt acceptance speech and electrifying performances, Urban’s night was as much a tribute to the people who’ve shaped his career as it was a celebration of his own achievements—and through it all, Nicole Kidman’s radiant smile never wavered.
