Melania Trump eats the same meal every single day
Compared to her husband, who loves fast food, Melania Trump eats a much healthier diet. Donald Trump eats like a much younger man, despite being the oldest person to be sworn into office as president of the United States.
The 78-year-old US president is notorious for his fast food addiction, consuming up to 12 Diet Cokes daily and gorging himself on McDonald’s on Air Force One.
However, Melania Trump, his wife, adopts a different and much healthier dietary strategy.
According to reports, the First Lady eats a “fresh and organic” diet and strives to consume at least seven servings of fruit each day.
She also practices strict portion control and only indulges in less healthy treats – ice cream and dark chocolate are her favourites – every now and then.
And, there’s one thing she has every single day.
In a Facebook post, Melania shared the recipe for the ‘every day delicious and healthy breakfast’ she swears by.
The smoothie consists of ‘spinach, celery, carrots, blueberries, apple, orange juice, lemon juice, fat-free yogurt, olive oil, flax seeds, omega-3, [and] vitamin D,’ and is packed with nutritional benefits.
Blueberries and spinach are both great sources of antioxidants – which protect cells from damage caused by free radicals and decrease inflammation – as are carrots, which also contain fibre, vitamin A and potassium.
Flaxseed infuses the smoothie with omega-3, supporting the function of cells throughout the body, and also contains an extra boost of antioxidants and fibre.
And, while adding olive oil to your morning smoothie might seem strange, the ingredient is once again packed with antioxidants and other anti-inflammatory properties.

It’s pretty much the opposite approach to nutrition to her husband, who has even made a point of serving fast food at official events.
At a 2019 White House event during his first term as President for the North Dakota State Bison college football team, Trump stated: “We could have had chefs, we could have, but we got fast food because you know what, I know you people very well.”
Meanwhile, Melania’s smoothie recipe has gone down a storm with her fans.
One wrote in the Facebook post’s comments: “Thank you so much; It won’t make me as beautiful as you, but I hope it will help some.”
Another said: “You are a sweetheart!! Thanks for the recipe!!”
And a third commented: “I made this smoothie. It was great. Except I used frozen spinach cubes. Delicious.”
